Weds 6th April ride

Does anyone remember the Wednesday vets ride that the late great Hughie Maguire used to lead? It left Beckett's Island at 9:30 and out to Wellesbourne Caf via Binton Upper Lower Quinton and Loxley. Back via Hampton Lucy Lowsonford Hockley Heath. Hughie for those who don't remember him was a beacon member, but the ride used to include members of other clubs. I haven't got strava, but I reckon the route was about 60 miles from Becketts - about 70 by the time I'd got to Beckett's from Moseley. I used to get back home around 3pm. Mind you there was generally a good chat in the caf. Anyway, I thought I'd do that ride this coming Weds. N.B. It was always a ride - NOT a bash. So if you can make it, hope to see you there!
