LMTT Handicap points

Post by Simon Dighton » 03 May 2012 08:27

Handicap results for all those brave souls - think given the conditions everyone should get double points but rules don't allow. Gary M won the handicap points being the only person that day to record a PB - by over 7 minutes! Here are the results for LMTT and then cumulatively as well. On the cumulative results Steve Bull heads up the table but has ridden one more TT than his closest challengers. Full spreadsheet available if anyone would like.

Order is act time, handicap, handicap time and handicap points

Gary Macintosh 131.24 38.45 92.39 40
Steve Bull 119.50 24.25 95.25 39
Chris Hudson 126.03 30.04 95.59 38
Nicholas Vipond 135.34 40.00 100.00 37
Paddy Allaway 128.44 19.35 109.09 36
John Hitchcock 133.59 20.54 113.05 35
Greg Thompson 154.11 40.00 114.11 34
Tim Egan 154.41 40.00 114.41 33
& now overall order is total points and then points from each tt

1 Steve Bull 158 39 40 40 39
2 Brian Botfield 112 40 33 39
3 Chris Hudson 112 36 38 38
4 Richard Kings 111 38 39 34
5 John Hitchcock 109 37 37 35
6 Gary Macintosh 104 30 34 40
7 Dave Cole 72 37 35
8 Neil Compton 71 35 36
9 Charles White 67 34 33
10 Gareth Scott 38 38
11 Nicholas Vipond 37 37
12 Simon Dighton 36 36
13 Paddy Allaway 36 36
14 Richard Leaper 35 35
15 Greg Thompson 34 34
16 Lee Marrow 33 33
17 Richard Greer 33 33
18 Phil Gameson 33 33
19 Tim Egan 33 33
20 Dave Hughes 29 29
21 Paul Deane 28 28
Best, Simon

I just wanted to thank everyone who helped out and gave much needed encouragement around the course last Sunday. Particular thanks to the tea ladies - without the most welcome cup of tea ever I think I would have been hypothermic! It was my first time riding the event and I will definitely be back, one of the best promoted events I have ever ridden and despite the horrendous conditions I really enjoyed it. I've got my eyes set on that improvers prize next season

You and a few others I think!

Thanks for taking the trouble to register on our message board and for posting your message of thanks Mark. I'll make sure that our helpers and marshals who aren't online get to see your comments.

See you again next year!

Charles, not many of mine were very fab, but of course you may use any that you think are worth using. It's nice to be asked.

I'll send you a link so that you can download the high-res pics.

Is there a way of sharing a .PDF document with everyone through the message board? I've been sent a report on the LMTT as a .PDF which I'd like to share with everyone.

"atyourageaveragespeeddoesmatter"

Bad luck.

Great read (apart from the ticket) where do I buy the autobiography? I imagine it would be far more entertaining than those of most current sporting 'celebrities'.

Superb shots Ed, Keith looks like a member of The Happy Mondays....
I'd love to see the rest of your pics from the day whenever you get them processed.

Great, Ed. Are there any plans for (low-res/watermarked) versions to be made available to view on the club website or club Picasa site?

Not sure what you have in mind Ed but for the web site I'm more than happy with jpgs of the same res as posted here. In fact, with you permission I'll just copy them from here so no need for you to do anything.

Alternatively if you want to publish them in an album you could add them to the club's picasa pages - let me know if you need the password to do so.

Ed these are superb - will you be selling prints from your website?

I was looking at Keith getting more and more worn down as the morning progressed but that picture is classic gallery material. My son has an album by the Spanish bloke begins with S (I've visited a show) suffering workers of the world + a LMTT marshall!

Hi Dave,

If anyone wants a copy them let me know. They will be hand printed.
