Unfortunately I won't be riding the first TT today - I've been diagnosed with central serous retinopathy and my eyes are still blurry from the examination last night.
Anyway - good luck to everybody riding - it looks like it'll be a smashing day to get those PB's in!

Sorry to hear that John. I had to look it up and confess to not fully understanding the explanation. The prognosis looks encouraging, though. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks Greg - it's a blister on the retina - when I blink I see a circular after image - like a massive floater in your vision - it also makes your eyesight blurry in the centre of your view - great for timetrialling!

Sorry to hear that, John. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Is there a particular cause?

Maybe a link to stress or Type A personalities. It can possibley be brought on by periods of intense stress - but no one really knows for sure. It usually resolves itself over a few months.

I had to look up what a Type A / Type B personality is. Having done so, I'm sure that I'm Type G.
