It was good to see a number of Beacons representing last night-Me, Mike and Gary raced CAT 4 and Sean raced CAT 3/4.

The weather was good, which was a surprise. It was windy however. Gary dropped out after a few laps (not sure why and he also left his leggings which I've got).
With 2/3 of the race gone a rider went down on the corner. I went straight into him but didn't go over-I think Mike ran over his hand. I had then to chase back on over 3 laps to get back to the second group-there was a group of 10 up the road who escaped the crash. Me and Mike pulled (no one else worked) to get back but we didn't manage it. I won the sprint for 11th!
Sean went well finishing 9th or 10th. He did far to much work on the front, and as a result, didn't have the legs for the sprint.
