24HR MTB Race sleepless in the saddle

Post by gmac » 11 Jun 2012 18:04

We have a Team Beacon entered for sleepless in the saddle the 24hr MTB race on August 4/5th.
The main idea is to make a fun weekend of it camping & a BBQ so the more the merrier.
If there is enough interest we could make up a second team.
I have one rider so far Gareth Scott so we just need three more.

Let me know asap

Well, that's my first 24hr race out the way. What a mad thing it was to do in some horrible conditions in the boggiest clay mud pits of fiery doom that I've ever ridden in - but it was fun!!!

Did anyone else show an interest in this?

Interested yeah, although you can hardly call it mountain biking... it's pan flat!! :P

This is what I did last weekend.... the mud was far worse in the bits he didn't take pictures of!!!
