Results Club TT 8th August K35/6Gx2

Post by Kermit » 08 Aug 2012 21:28

Gareth Scott 31'15"
John Rice 31'19"
Ed Schofield 32'01" Team Midland
Chris Hudson 32'33"
John Hitchcock 33'25"
Brian Botfield 35'29"
Neil Compton 35'34"
Richard Leaper 37'13"
Kerri Jones 37'24" BRAT
Geoff Mann 39'02" BRAT
Steve Morton DNF

Congratulations to Gareth just edging John Rice. Disappointment for Steve Morton on his first outing making a wrong turning. We've all done it. A beautiful evening for racing and only the lightest of winds. In fact had I not been timing I might have been tempted.......... to go down to the Hollybush for a pint of Brakspear in the garden.

Why would you want to spend £3 on a pint relaxing in a beer garden on a beautiful evening when you can spend it putting yourself through 35-ish minutes of sheer pain?!
Pleased with my big PB which shows how tentative I must have been in my April début (though it didn't feel that way then).

Hi, was my pb noted for the points. I'd previously done 38.13.

Neil,
I have you down as having done a 36-11 in 2011 which is driving the handicap. If this is wrong please let me know and I can change. Best Simon
