Both me and Gareth raced as well. I pulled a hamstring in the first lap and dropped out. As the course was like a muddy swamp there was a lot of running and as soon as I started to run it went. A case of not warming up enough but I put it down to not enough use-cycling shortens the hamstring and runnning lengthens it hence the pull.

Gareth also raced but he's not dopwn on the results??

Anyhow the conditions were kak at best.
