Proposed 10TT K8/10T 8th May CLASH

Post by Stats » 12 Apr 2013 16:18

Hi All
We have a Clash on this TT with Wyre Forest and due to the light issue this early in the season we have to either cancel the event or move the date. The next possible date for us to use the course due to our own schedule is 3rd July I have already spoken to the West Mercia Police and that date would be fine with no clash We are to late now to change course and sumbit a new form as we are outside the required 28 day deadline

Can't see any problems with moving it. As long as timekeeper is available.

This doesn't affect me at all ... but I can't help wondering: how on earth does a clash happen? I thought all these dates were agreed at a divisional meeting in the autumn. Has the division approved 2 events on the same course at the same time?

The Clash happened because nobody picked up that the time submitted for our event appears to have been 14.00 instead of 19.00 possibly a typo i overlooked and was then missed

Oh, I see. I didn't mean to sound critical, by the way -- I simply couldn't understand how it was possible.
