Next Club TT Weds 15th May (now with results)

Post by RichK » 10 May 2013 09:37

The next club TT takes place on the popular K36/4.5 (two laps). A good course for anybody contemplating a first go at a TT as it's relatively flat and easily possible to ride out & back (but you might want some lights for the return).

Hopefully a bit drier than last year (but no guarantees).

Start time is 7:00 but aim to get there 20 or so mins before to warm up & sign on.

We need at least one marshall for the first junction (any volunteers?) & if somebody can push off would be good. In the event of a big turn out it would be helpful if the quicker riders could go off later.

Dave - can I borrow the watches? (mine's died) - let me know if/when I need to come & collect.

Richard
The Beacon now has two stopwatches which Chris Hudson brings to the Club TTs. They are good watches - I used them for the last club TT.
I'm afraid I won't be there - it would be good to have a marshal on the first corner, if anyone fancies cycling out

I'll marshall on the first corner if someone is still needed. I'm riding the Expedition route the next day and want to save my energy rather than hammering round the tt!
I can gather all the news I need on the weather report.

Yes watches are with me. If anybody wants to marshal it would be much appreciated. The first corner is the main place although someone on the last corner is also nice.

Hi all,

I am planning on doing this TT. However due to kids commitments on a Wednesday I won't get there until 7. Is this still OK for signing on etc? Happy to go last off to allow warm up etc.

Cheers

Gavin

If someone could marshall that would be good as without a marshall on that turn onto the main road we should not run the event as it needed us to have 1 to get course passed

Usually plenty of space on Umberslade Rd by the start/finish

bloody hell Chris is on a roll, well done!
'This will be Chris's Wiggins year' so theoretically he should come down with a chest infection this time next year!
