Happy with 10th, think gets me first BC point?

Andrew was strong throughout and unlucky in last lap/round last corner.

Who's joining us next week?

Nice one, Tim. A well-deserved first top ten.

Good riding Tim, you looked strong in the sprint. I knew id rue my decision to try and bridge andy collis and his break away, seriously strong... Totally spent by the end.

Thanks. Andrew you put in a lot of work near the front as well as chasing the break, better to try and go with break if you are feeling good at the time as it may have paid off with a 3rd place just the wind made it a tough challenge! after last week I was just happy to stay with the group. Thanks for pointing out the Dolan frame...def tempting but may go for Ribble Audax Frame if I do invest in a winter training bike as it's only £20 more for frame only and had a Ribble in mind.

Hopefully Andy Collis has made Cat2 so cant race next week! That's the case for the young lad who won.

Mike and Lee normally do the early BCC sat ride if they're not racing.

I'll be on the morning ride tomorrow. I'll try to stay nearer to the front this week so I don't get stuck at a roundabout like last time.

It's at 7am from the old Birmingham City Cycles shop at 94 Bristol Street. If you're still avoiding high-intensity rides for the time being, it might be a bit quick though!

It's not right in the city centre and it's 7am - not many people about at that time on a Saturday!

Great race. Shame I went down on the final lap after a P9 last week. Another set of kit down..
