KC32 - 11th April

KC32 - 11th April

I have just ridden the course this afternoon and there were temporary traffic lights just over half way round on one of the larger roads - sorry I can't be more precise.
They seemed to serve no purpose (do they ever?) so maybe they had only just been set up or were about to be taken down.
I am not sure if they were two way or three way (on a farm entrance).

Also, if you drive to the start via Droitwich, roadworks just after you turn off the A38 were causing considerable delays...

I am aware of these they have been there all week. I'll take a trip over there tomorrow and have a look. I'll make a decision on whether 20 goes ahead or not at that point.

Just planning my next few events, noticed that the calendar page at http://www.beaconrcc.org.uk/club_races/ ... index.html lists K34/10D on Wednesday 6th May but the link for the course takes you to a route for K8/10T.

Toby

The correct course is K34/10d. The original plan was to use K8 but Wire Forest are running an event there that day.

Thanks Rich - just a heads up for the admins really to ensure the link goes to the correct route.

Chris

Whilst we're vaguely on the subject of which course...

For the 25s are we using the (old) 25, now redesignated K34/24.7C (previously K34/25C?)

http://www.midlanddc.org.uk/courses?are ... =K34/24.7C

or, the revised (new) course, designated K34/25

http://www.midlanddc.org.uk/courses?are ... rse=K34/25

which should be the correct length but without the ski-slope start.

Link to CTT for K34/25C needs to be changed either way.

I'm going to use the K34/25. Parking usual place. We might as well have a proper distance.

For first-timers, where's the usual place?

All the wed tt's start at 7pm Keith except the pair of 5 mile events at Bromsgrove which are 7:30, the traffic on the dual carriageway means we can't do it earlier.
