Patch
Other than being a little frustrated by my lack of speed (you'd think I'd be used to it by now, but it comes as a surprise every time), I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Simon's low-pro still made me envious, even thirty years after first clapping eyes on such a machine (ridden by Ian Cammish). And hats off to Steve and Keith for turning out on two immaculately preserved specimens significantly older than their owners. And still going bloody fast, considering. And what could Gary do if he trained and if he rode a fast bike, instead of a steel tourer?
A passing nod to the whiz-kids from Bicicielo, who both seem to be quite good. Well done Martin for getting amongst them, though!
Finally, thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

Yes a big thanks to George It was a great idea and we should definitely run it again next year, perhaps on the K36/4.5C x2.
Thanks everyone for making last night really enjoyable and fun.
A time trial that's fun when did you ever here that!
Liked it so much I will probably ride my Rourke again next week!

I'll admit to being really annoyed that I couldnt come along to have a look, but it was my lads birthday, and beleive it or not it was more than my life was worth to even suggest going out!

Handicap results
A bit of subjectivity due to the classic array of machines but I have allowed 1-15 for anyone on retro - their handicap next week where they have not ridden the course will also be reduced by 1-15 so should even things out. Here are the scores with a fine performance from Simon Wheeler which takes him up to second place
