What a superb achievement, many congratulations to Richard. Watching him steam his way up the hill-climb course last year was a sight to behold, what a talent.

When I spoke to Richard as he marshlled at our little mountain tt earlier in season he was just getting riding again after rupturing spleen in a crash on training ride. He told me then it just meant it would be a "late season" . I know he's been going good in road races & spectacurlarly well in open tt's since then but wow! Absolutely fantastic result. We found out the result after completing our last ride of Alpine cycling holiday & it just put perfect seal on our brilliant week.
