Respect to everyone, competitors and officials, for braving that. I spent the last four days looking at weather forecasts talking myself into and back out of showing up today.

Anyone who raced in yesterday's conditions deserves a pat on the back.

The toughest part was getting there, straight into that headwind! The ride itself wasn't too bad, as the only open bit is up the A435 where it was a lovely tailwind. Luckily the rain held off.

Falling off as I dismounted on arrival (crosswind on the bridge didn't help), then having to fix a sticky brake 2 minutes into the ride (possibly as a result of said fall) made it a little more eventful than I'd have liked

Congrats to Ed on a ridiculous time!
