Post by martin mc » 08 Jun 2016 20:35

This evening was our last of 4 consecutive races on K36/4.5 course. The heavy rain earlier in afternoon eased off & had stopped altogether by the time we started. Although the roads were still a bit damp it was probably the warmest conditions on this course this year & very little breeze.
10 riders chanced the weather

1 John Hunt 21:22
2 Amarjit Sanghera 22:48
3 Phil Richards 23:10
4 Ian Taylor 23:13
5= Phil Gameson 24:18
5= Gavin Giles 24:18
7 Richard Hendricson 24:27
8 Keith Adcock 24:34
9 John Hitchcock 24:50
10 Dave Hughes 24:52

Well done all & thanks to Bal for coming along to marshall.

Yes big thanks to Martin and Bal.
Actually not bad conditions after ditching the inflatable boat and wet suite in Brum

Well done to everyone that made it. After fighting my way home through the storm, I decided it was safest not to contribute to the traffic on the roads!
If you’re all about the destination, take a f#€king flight!

How the mighty are fallen eh George. Got to say that I tried v hard but it was a sound beating on the night. Not using TT bike was a factor but neither were any others. What a ride by Jon Hunt, on a strictly non aero bike! Respect.
