The next Beacon club TT will be held on Wed 8th August on K37/6G course at 7pm. This will be 1 lap of the course this week. The official course description is given at http://midlanddc.org.uk/courses?area=K37&course=K37/6G , same as https://www.strava.com/activities/367591937#8778419510
Sign on will be from about 18:15 at start, parking on bridge over A435 at turning signed for Ullenhall. If you don't know the course might be worth arriving early to give yourself time to go around it before race starts as there won't be marshalls to direct you at every junction but it's not a complicated route.
This is the last Beacon Club TT of season, excepting the club hill climb championship on 9th Sept.

This evenings Time Trial was cancelled due to torrential rain. It was dry up to 20 minutes before start & then proceeded to rain very heavily for the next half hour, the heavy rain only being interrupted by spells of even heavier rain. We sheltered in cars until 19:15 but even as the rain stopped & a rainbow appeared there was really heavy spray coming from all the passing vehicles. For riders safety the event was cancelled. On my way home I drove along part of course through Beoley & there were some big puddles in places riders would have been descending fast which confirmed that cancelling event was the correct decision.
