wed 22nd May K36/4.5 CANCELLED

Post by martin mc » 16 May 2019 20:57

Unfortunately due to road closure & roadworks on course this event has been cancelled. It also doesn't look promising for the next few weeks on same course but will post when a decision has been made.
Please spread the word as would hate for anyone to turn up on day expecting to race & find out then about cancellation.

Looking forwards perhaps to next years calender do members have a preferred reserve course that we could fall back on if the same thing occurred again? We could nominate alternative course so that if an event has to be cancelled we could just switch to reserve course (which we would send in police notification forms for at same time as we do for original course, no cost to club to do this).
Post here if you have a preference.

Is that the K34/10D or K34/25 Keith?

I'd favour a 10 over a 25, given this one's 9 miles long.

The 10 as a replacement for the 9

K34/10D fine with me. Also worth considering K1/10 as an option as it may allow more people to ride out to it (starts and finishes in Knowle).

Rocked up to ride the Birmingham midland TT on the K 1 10 in Knowle to find yes you've guessed it Road works . It was right near the start of the course so it just got shortened to a 9.6 mile event. it is still a nice course though .

Can an administrator please remove the announcement status of this post as we have now completed club TT's on this course for this year.
Thanks, Martin.
