wed 26th June K32/20 club handicap competition WITH RESULTS
The next Beacon Club TT will take place this wed 26th June at 7pm on K32/20 course, details as per https://www.strava.com/activities/332324038/
The weather looks fair, there's a lovely trophy up for grabs & there's a nice pub in Himbleton for afterwards. I won't spoil it for anyone by explaining how the handicap works exactly, just turn up & ride as fast as you can - we'll work out the handicap winner afterwards.
Sign on & limited parking near start at crossroads / picnic area by Shell Ford from about 6.15 on.
Definitely worth ensuring you know the course or have it on Garmin before start as there are a couple of turns that are easy to miss & there won't be marshalls to guide you. The course consists of a series of left turns coming at approx distances of 2.2miles, 3.1miles, 4.2 miles, 8.2miles,13miles, 14.4, 14.6miles & 17.7miles.

Handicap explanation
PS - Handicap system
Simplified it is the person who has the best PB on the night or if no PB's the person closest to their PB who gets the trophy. (with results ignored from more than 3 years ago unless not ridden since)
New riders to the course have a standard handicap but cannot win if their is a PB on the night

Thanks Simon.
I'm timekeeping (can't ride yet & gives Martin a chance to) but forgot that I'll have to work out the best PB...
Must remember to drop a laptop in to the car. That'll make it easier.

Re: wed 26th June K32/20 club handicap competition
Hi all
I think my handicap time should be 47 minutes, as it was my first 20-miler.
Thanks
