European Tour

Post by slogfester » 12 May 2013 21:43

Off this summer for a long lazy tour through central and western Europe :) Always keen to hear from others who may have pedalled the same route.

Roughly, we plan to start in Tuscany in early June and head north over the Brenner Pass, Austria, Bavaria, East Germany/West Czech, Berlin, Copenhagen. Turn around and head south through West Germany, Alsace Lorraine, Switzerland, South France (where we have a 'date' mid-Sept) and then Spain.
In other words, follow the sun oop north and then chase it down south 8)

Going north it seems that we can roughly follow EV7

Anyone been on it?
We prefer slow scenic (= meandering!) and/or off-road routes and will be camping.

Thanks
Belt up, we're going for a ride

Sounds really interesting, Barry. Don't forget to keep everyone updated with your ventures. If you are updating Facebook, I can always relay the latest news onto this thread.
