Can someone please see if they can view the maps tab on
www.bikeroutetoaster.com
I have tried on different browsers and on different devices/OSs and still can't view maps for the past 48 hours.
Thanks

Phew! I though for one horrible moment my toaster was down.
Maybe time to move over to RWGPS.

Its not just the toaster that is experiencing problems. Google have apparently updated their maps engine (API) from V2 to V3 and the deadline for developers to upgrade was 19/11/13. Many sites evidently havent.

From what I have read on various forums, I very much doubt

On the website there is an update that says they are working on it.
So fingers crossed.

Alan - the routes are stil there, you just can't see them on a map. You should still be able to download them and put them on your device or upload to another mapping service - that's what I've done.

Was BikeRouteToaster the only site that would add turn by turn directions as an option when you downloaded a .tcx file to your Garmin?

whisper it quietly, but I think bikeroutetoaster is back. It looks a bit different, but all my old routes are there, all exportable and there are maps, undo buttons and altitudes. Just successfully uploaded a route to my garmin...

Your right it is, and blimey hasnt it changed somewhat!!
I cannot seem to find my old routes, looks like I'll need to sit down and have a proper play around with it so that I can get to grips with it

It looks like some major improvement work has been done ... but if I were you I'd still export all my routes just in case it 'disappears' again.
