Giro D'Italia (may contain spoilers or traces of spoilers)
Starts on 10 May. Quite a few top riders are missing so it'll be interesting to see if Quintana steps up, or if the likes of Rodriguez, Uran, Evans etc. can make an impact.
Thoughts?
The Velogames fantasy cycling site is up and accepting entries here. If there's enough interest I'll set up a league for us to join for a bit of fun.

link to some photos I took from the stages in Ireland over the weekend. Amazingly, bumped into Stephen Roche and Sean Kelly whilst wandering about Belfast, topped only by then bumping into our very own Tim Egan in the Titanic Quarter!

Not a lot for the sprinters.....although mine wears Pink (I thought Kittel would have least lasted until tomorrow before he got a "tummy bug"). I got the stage winner as well today and Pozzovivo, Pureto, Cunego will all come good. Unfortunately my guaranteed bloke for a top ten finish and at least one stage win went home with a broken shoulder so I am resigned to a podium place rather than the Pink jersey...never trust a Villa fan.....

Nothing wrong today, they were racing when the incident took place. Cadel is not the most popular person in the peleton, wheel sucker etc,, so he will get loads of stick, but if he hadn't continued to race he would have been condemned by his team.
I thought he looked good yesterday as well. The big tests are yet to come though.
Michael Mathews was certainly worth every penny I paid and was outstanding today, staying in exactly the right place and keeping his head. The boy has a big future. Next years classics could see a lot of jewellery and bad taste paint jobs.
