Cracking stage yesterday, just hope Nibali finds some form before the tour, then we are in for a real treat.

He did suffer, but never rule out Nib. There is the possibility that Contador and Froome may destroy one another with so many attacks in the tdf. And Nib is better on the nasty surfaces that they have to negotiate in the first week, can't see either Froome or Contador enjoying the cobbles much and they could both loose time.
However it does at the moment look like a two horse race, with Froome as the favourite, particularly if Porte can get race fit to support him. However Contador has been around the block enough time to have faked his inability to come round Froome yesterday.

Nearly. ..
I thought it wonderful when the camera bike guy gave Contador at"bravo" when he went back to the group.
He certainly forced Sky into hard work on a day they may have marked for recovery.
Saturday will see the real fireworks, I think Froome has what it takes to deal with just Contador attacking and the race needs Niballi to go as well.

Froome just didn't have it today - Bertie messed up and caused himself a lot of pain trying to get back.

Congrats Mr Talansky! Shame for Nieve that his solo win was overshadowed a little by what went on behind him; a top effort to make it stick.

(Edited for missing w's - damn keyboard!!)

Made for an exciting day though, shame Nibali just can't find any form.
Impossible to say what will happen in July but Contador has shown he doesn't need a team and he can beat all of Sky on his own.
