Oh dear me......what a differance one incorrect letter makes! To many possible rude comments and so little timePhilip Whiteman wrote:Is there a C Rub tomorrow? Lisa may join for part of the ride.

On a hilly and testing A-ride to Cob House Fisheries today were:
Phil Richards (leading)
John Hunt
Matt Clegg
Matt Hale
Craig Walmsley
Ben Walmsley
...and meeting us at the café briefly was George Barker
I tried a little-used route of the city to Droitwich, which went well with resurfaced lanes proving a bonus but then went and spoilt it all by navigating into an 400m rough, off-road section. Apologies for that.
An excellently disciplined group, with plenty of climbing talent on show (...er not from me!)
Thanks to everyone for the excellent company and willingness to take the front.

B run to Pershore was uneventful on the way out, but on the return journey we had a small accident where Dave ended up hedge diving. Luckily he was just fine but a bike got damaged requiring a touch of bodging to get it going again. I forgot to take note at the cafe of who was on the ride, so please shout out below as I can't remember everyone...

C run to Bewdley
Dave Cox Leading
Amelia Rouse
Dennis Snape
Kim Shapiro
Mark Russell
John Deeley
Colin Hall Sweeping
Andy Wrightson
Generally a pleasant pootle through the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Good to welcome two new riders Amelia and Mark both fit and competent having no problem with a C run.
But we got pulled over by a policeman in Blakedown because he thought that we hadn't pulled over quickly enough when he came past in hot pursuit of a rider from another club.

When we all turned back after the crash to find three bikes and only two people standing was so confusing?
Then to see Dave pop up out of that overgrown drainage gulley from seemingly nowhere was so hilarious.
Thankfully no serious injuries and l hope that the stinging nettle rash isnt to sore Dave.....
