Hi, I will be there to do the early shift. Please volunteer to help if you can, you may never have done a cx race or watched one but club activities always rely on volunteers.

And we have a couple of six year olds registered in the league so they need some cheers from marshals and supporters :D

And watching Pete Marshall doing his first cross race should be a good watch to see world class dismounts and mounts ;;-)

Faceplanting is definitely not the BC recommended dismount method, but it did me well in my skiing days so I think I will give it a go in cross😉

I'll be there at 11.00 and ride out from the Black Horse starting usual time if anyone wants to join me. Always a good day out. Bring some insect repellent in case you are posted into the woods!!

The course looks really good looking at the plan. Children have raced there before in go ride and Schools Cycling Champs but first time for adults. Think only one barrier/face plant per lap Pete :D

I'm intending to ride it, and also might be chauffeuring calamity Clegg, so uncertain I'd be able to help out. If things change, I'll let you know.

I was planning to take part then life changed my plans :(
My CX bike stills in Italy (due to an unsatisfied courier service that did not pick up it last week  ) and I am in the situation to ride since there and give an help as Marshall (while my anger will eat my belly :( because of no riding).

Let's speak with my boss about it (e.g. my partner).

So far we have
Martin McGowan and Gary Mac on the early shift

Dave Cox, George Barker, Alberto Recchioni and myself on the 11.00 shift.

Can we have another 4 volunteers please ( with over 250 Beacon members that should not be difficult)
