Club Runs - 24th February
As you should be aware by now, I love a good stat, and symmetry in numbers is an art form that should be in museums alongside Monet. On Sunday, there were 30 people at the Black Horse on a warm, spring-like day and 10 went off on the A-run, 10 on the B and 10 on the C. Quite splendid.
Should I get out more?
Anyway, thanks to the three leaders Phil, Si and Pete, and Carolyn on Saturday of course. This coming Saturday, it is the Sunrise/Snowdrop Beacon audaxes from Hartlebury...hope to see a lot of you there, and the last helper I need is a Snowdropper who could spend 5 mins at the end of the lane at 08:30 and again at 09:00 to ensure the safety of riders at the first turn onto the A442, let me know if you could help with this, the least time-consuming of help! These audaxes are likely to cut down attendance on Sunday club runs, but if you’re not riding on Saturday or just want to double up, then volunteer to lead below.
This week’s rides are:
A: Volunteer required
B: Kenilworth - Neil Orchard
C: Volunteer required

Only because the 11th rider on the B didn't put his name down!
Re: Club Runs - 24th February
I think it was James Bendle? who did not sign the register.

Re: Club Runs - 24th February
Hello, is there a C ride tomorrow? Thanks
Re: Club Runs - 24th February
Another glorious day for riding a bicycle! That was until James Bendle came down pretty hard on a corner just coming out of Kenilworth, luckily a very nice couple had stopped and took James to hospital, pretty bad facial injuries and I've since learnt he has no recollection of how he got there.
Riders were
James Bendle
Finbar Costigan
Claire Fudge
Paul Johnson
Andy McGrath
Noel O' Dwyer
Neil Orchard
Jon Sadler
Andy Wrightson
Kevin Young
Hope you're ok James!

The C ride to Lavender Hall was thankfully uneventful other than the ride leader having a **flat**.
Nathan met us at the café, which was impressive as we set off for Kenilworth before changing our minds and heading for Lavender Hall

Thanks for leading Simon, it was really appreciated.
It was a lovely ride in perfect weather (once the fog burnt off), although there is definitely a difference in opinion as to what constitutes a hill! Lol

If you’re all about the destination, take a f#€king flight!

Oh, and kudos, I think that was sandy’s first C run after going out on the Saturday ladies ride for a few weeks!
