Re: A, B and C Club runs July, August and September 2019
I'll do a 'retro run' on 4 August. This ride is likely to defy classification. Pace will depend on who's interested in coming (B or C or in between). Distance likewise. I have it in mind to do 100 miles myself (with 2 café stops). We might all do that together, or we might, for example, pootle to café 1 at C pace, then split up, with a handful doing the remainder of the 100 at B pace, and the rest heading back to the BH. Everything to suit interested parties. I'll post something closer to the time to gauge interest before firming up plans.

The A Run on the 28th will be to Brewood with the option of continuing on to make it 200km after the cafe stop.
The 200km option will carry on from Brewood up to Eccleshall, Stone, Milford then back to Brewood and home.
This will be an 8:15 start from the Black Horse.

Hi Phil n all,
Whilst I’m still settling in to the club and getting to know everyone, short term I will just join in as a participant on the club runs. That being said going forward once settled in and more known within the club, I would be more than happy to step up to lead some of the rides.
To note, I have had ride leading experience before, leading out experienced riders on a work group charity ride from London to Paris last year.
Final closing note, is there any planned rides for Sunday 25th Aug yet?
Kind regards
Simon

Hello Si.
Phil Richards requested that I do the postings for this clubs runs whilst he is away. There are no volunteers for the 25th, so just pick a venue and consider yourself as volunteered.

Hi All, Can't make the next two weekends. But volunteer to lead an A run (my first as lead!) on the 8th September. About 150km, thinking of something like this:

Saturday 28th Club run to Yorkshire for the UCI Worlds?
Hi All,
Posting to see if there are any plans/ interest in a club run to Wakefield/Leeds/Harrogate area to then stay overnight and watch the men's senior race on the 29th September? It's about 100 miles to Wakefield, 120miles to Leeds.
I've booked accomodation in Wakefield on the night of the 28th and plan to go to the signing on and start in Leeds and then to Harrogate for the final laps . I'm going with the family (so we're watching the start/finish in the towns rather than going out to the climbs in the Dales).

22nd September.
The Belbroughton Scarecrow Festival will be taking place and roads will be closed after 10am, after which the village will be worth avoiding via the farm at Broome or Fairfield.
