I will leave a B style run to the Wyre Forest using my usual route: https://ridewithgps.com/trips/36267753

9:00 for 9:15 at the Black Horse.
We can avoid Sheep Walks (I think that is what it is called) if people want.
There is quite a lot of climbing in the first two thirds, with the last third being a gentle climb back to Birmingham!

Please post if you intend to come.

Hi Phil,

Sheepwash or Sheepalks...quite different - think your route goes via Sheepwash - few holes and gravel in places, but otherwise OK. Sheepwalks is v. steep, but you miss it by taking Beacon Lane.

Did you not fancy my ride to Bridgnorth? :) ...or did you not see it? Don't mind if you'd prefer Wyre Forest/slighly shorter route (and wouldn't be offended), however the new posts for club runs at the moment seem get shifted lower down, so not sure if people always see them? Similar may have happened to Gemma? (now cancelled)...all B rides!

Matt (going to Bridgenorth) and I will amalgamate our rides if there are no more than 6 riders between us.

Jon, looks like we may join Matt’s ride to bridgenorth, but can stick with the wyre forest visitor centre if you are pushed for time.

Looks like this will be a separate ride as now 7 in total for this as Matt's ride.

With three riders signed up for this and four for Matt's both went ahead.

We did well with the weather - a little bit of drizzle whilst we were at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, then dry overhead but a lot of wet roads on the return.

Average speed just below the 15mph I suggested, but it felt like quite a bit more! [A bit quicker on the way back than the way out, which is not usually the case.]

The Riders were
Phil Gameson (leader)
Jon Saddler
Si Walker.

Phil, thanks, an enjoyable route, challenging in parts, but varied. I have to admit to feeling fatigued on the return after walking lots yesterday, however a good day outI
