First time riding the TT bike in anger since Covid/last June, happy with 11th, avoiding the potholes and cow muck in Cheshire.

Pete had a mountain bike accident and broke clavicle, scapula and double fracture of 6 ribs leading to flail chest and pneumothorax. He underwent 7hrs surgery 2 days later and was back home 5th day post-op. He is now reasonably mobile and no severe pain. After the fall he had to walk a mile to the road where his wife had to come to take him to the hospital where she works because the ambulance service refused to attend because he could walk !! The bike was undamaged (and I think now for sale )
