Sunday 3th Sep. 9:00am start. C paced 130km/80m to Kenilworth

I'll be running a 200km next week (Saturday 9th) to help David T pop his 200k cherry: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10707, but this week, let's go for something a bit shorter!

For those for which the already published C is a bit too short, the A/B too fast: I'll be doing a 130k/80m ride towards Kenilworth at 14 mph approx.
One café stop half-way to the newly discovered 'Forrest coffee house' where the challenge is to resist their choice and only have ONE piece of cake instead of two or three!
Will contain quite a few twist and turns to fuel my addiction for hunting new miles. I heard I am famous for it so won't be a surprise to most. Might be unconventional, but YOLO and it will nevertheless offer 80 miles of good cycling for those brave enough to join the whistling French.
Bringing your stock of snack bars and jelly babies is a wise move if your internal combustion engine requires more frequent top-up than the single halfway stop.
Meet at the BH at 9:00 for departure as soon as all there. Return ETA 15:15/15:30

NB1: Please note that due to medical reasons I use a handle-bar extender, a bit like TT-bars. I use this to relief the pain of NHS diagnosed trapped nerves in my wrists and elbows. I do NOT use these to ride like a TT racer, to draft behind others or similar performance seeking stunts.
Every bike ride, be it commute, ride alone or in group, entails its share of risks (bad road surface, motorised traffic, natural elements, our or other riders' mistakes or inattentions...). This is common knowledge and we all ride at our own risk. Nevertheless if my use of this extender, despite sanctioned by the BRCC committee, makes you feel uncomfortable, please do not join my rides.

NB2: Please also note that due to a combination of overloaded tool bag and betablockers, I am slow going uphill. Do not expect Alps climbing performance from me. So do not be surprised if you'll probably all overtake me during climbs. We'll regroup at the top and carry on from there.

Thanks for coming and for the company:
Ced G
Leigh Hopkins
Ansel N'Guyen
Ewan Ross

Sorry Dan to hear you couldn't make it, get well soon. We'll go there again so that you can sample the cakes.

Nice ride with even nicer cakes (as predicted not a single rider had enough will power to stop at a single piece of cake):

and a fresh pint to stay hydrated at the end of the ride.

What more to ask for?
