wed 16th may K36/4.5 2 laps WITH RESULTS NOW

Post by martin mc » 09 May 2018 21:11

The next round of our Club TT series takes place on Wednesday 16th May at 19:00 on K36/4.5 course, details at http://midlanddc.org.uk/courses?area=K36&course=K36/4.5 , same as https://www.strava.com/activities/303945193 .

We'll be running events on this course for next 5 weeks so come along & track your progress each week. Sign on will take place at start, at junction of Tithe Barn Lane & Umberslade Road.

This is usually our most popular course & all riders are welcome. Although I will be there to timekeep & sign riders on we will also need a 2nd timekeeper & a volunteer to marshall at first junction. No previous experience needed so just shout up on here if you can help, either this week or any of the upcomong events on this same course.
Many thanks & look forward to seeing you all there,
Martin.

A huge well done to all riders. Also big thanks to Richard Kings for timekeeping, Dave Cole for marshalling at first junction & Dave Hughes for pushing off.
Back on this course again next wed, look forward to seeing many riders return. As mentioned at conclusion of race tonight we can only run events on this course with the help of a second timekeeper & a marshall for first junction as a minimum so please volunteer if you can help next week or any of the next 4 weeks.

Many thanks, Martin

Thanks all as usual for your help!! Some cracking times for a cool blustery evening. Hopefully we'll get some nice warm still evenings in the next few weeks. However I expect normal service will resume and it will piss it down.
