Club runs - 24th November
Another 20 people out on Sunday... plenty of benign weather about at present so lube your chain and come on in, the water's lovely.
Thanks to Andy, Simon and Phil G for leading the three rides...and yes, the club run trophy is up for grabs next year...a wide open leaderboard at present. It was good to see nearly 10 riders out on the B-ride on Sunday, having a leader named in advance during the winter encourages people to come long to this popular ride..
This week's rides will again fill up in the week hopefully, and it's the last week of the 8-week C-ride experiment of naming the destination and route in advance to make it as simple as possible to get leaders...has it been a success? Well, you can be the judge of that...but I'll probably keep it for the rest of the year...
A: Blackminster - Phil Richards
B: Volunteer required
C: Lavender Hall using this route - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31169426 - Noel O'Dwyer

Re: Club runs - 24th November
I will lead the C ride this Sunday to Lavender Hall.
Re: Club runs - 24th November
Sunday looks a lovely dry day sandwiched between wet ones, so get yourself out on a club run rather than the old turbo screen watching...
The A-ride will be to the Potted Pantry café at Blackminster (between Honeybourne and Evesham) this Sunday, using a route something like this:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31502540
Although it is routed that some might prefer to go to Coffee #1 next to the Boardman centre in Evesham to watch round 10 of the West Midlands cyclo-cross there this Sunday...you have the option.
Any B-ride leaders yet? Why not go to Evesham Boardman Centre (use Coffee#1) and watch an hour of cyclocross, it makes for interesting viewing!

An impromptu B ride was taken to Warwick. The 'B' should be for Boat, as there was quite a bit of flooding in the (mucky) lanes. Very nice snack and coffee taken at the Tilted Wig in the festive Warwick square.
Si Walker - Captain
Neil Evanson - Bosun
Matt Hale - 1st officer
Toby Hale - 2nd Officer
Ewan Ross - Engine room
Si Turner - Chief Mechanic
Will Woodhouse - Lookout. (thanks for keeping an eye on the bikes at the cafe)
