The 2008 edition of the Little Mountain Time Trial will follow
our usual successful format. We schedule the event to coincide
with the end of the hilly-TT season when racing cyclists have
found their 'racing legs' and (hopefully!) at a time of year
when the weather is changing for the better. The last few
years' races took place on wonderfully mild spring days when
the Worcestershire countryside was fresh and green.
If you're not the competitive sort why not ride out and cheer
on the riders? Every shout and clap of encouragement will
be appreciated by the competitors as they toil up Ankerdine
or Stanford Bank! There'll be a welcome for you back at the
HQ too, with plenty of hot drinks and food available. Great
viewing places would be Stanford
Bank or Ankerdine
Hill.
The Little Mountain Time Trial is a qualifying event for
the
Midlands SPOCO series.
Next year's event will take place on 26th April 2009 commencing
at 08:00. The entry fee will be £10. Full details will
be available soon.
