Sundorne today is a great course, very varied with a mix of technical and fast sections. If the planks are in their usual position on a slope, it'll be a challenge to bunny hop - riders have great difficulty jumping them! Enjoy.

Nope, not even a BC member... the WM CX site said all I needed to be was a member of the league to get 'league' points, which I guess is their own internal scoring system and nowt to do with BC :) Maybe they've changed it since last year, when a day licence had to be purchased if riders didn't have...

Well I've entered... gonna give it a whirl on the mtb. :) I don't have a race licence any more -- anyone know if that matters for the league points, or does it just apply to BC regional points which I won't get anyway :P I'm guessing that you are a BC member, in which case the provisional licence i...

Sadly Andrew Clayton, who had a lucky escape with his collarbone on the club run on Sunday, came down on the final lap of the 3/4 race and had to go to hospital for the second time in three days. It looks like he's broken it this time. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Andrew. Ouch! The man is det...

The minimum to enter the league is a Bronze BC membership which acts as a Provisional Licence as well. A full racing licence isn't required for regional events.

Rollers are particularly good for low resistance training, balance/core strength and pedalling technique: turbo is particularly good for leg strength and resistance work. Bear in mind that the absence of wind resistance on both makes the training speeds a little misleading!
