I wasn't forgetting it for a second year , after the Audax I left the Bottle in the boot of the Car for this very reason.

I was assistant Commisaire at Stuorport Tuesday night, First race had an Elite rider from Node 4-Giordana who lapped all the Cat 1/2 riders.

The Cat 3/4 race had 40 entrants, but NO Beacon riders.

Tim, an indication of the speeds, CAT4's normally lap around 2.10, Elites around 2.06 and sunday we clocked the leaders towards the end at 1.56, the fastest lap we've seen down there !

Essex Bridge - 110km Audax from Tamworth

I'd like to echo Steve's comments.Great picturesque route and what stood out to me was how good the road surfaces were along most of the route.

Clive did confirm that due to the success of the event it will be returning next year.

Gutted !

Fully intended to take my Cotswold Audax 'Bidon' to Paris with me this weekend and take a photo of it in front of the Arc de Triomphe and i forgot to pack it !

Still there was a little cycle race on sunday down the The Avenue des Champs-Élysées that I got to watch.
