SUNRISE / SNOWDROP 2025 - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Excellent early offers of help for the Sunrise / Snowdrop have made it a much easier recruitment drive for this year's Sunrise/Snowdrop Audax on Saturday 22nd February, but please shout out if you can help with the vacant posts below, and DON'T FORGET, this will give you volunteer points towards free kit!. Thanks as always.
07:45 - 09:45: 4 people required for morning sign-on at Whitlenge Garden Centre: Carol Wainwright, Steve Wainwright, Ade Ravenscroft and Mick Stanford
12:30 - 16:30: 3 people required for afternoon sign on at Whitlenge Garden Centre: Carol Wainwright, Steve Wainwright and Mick Stanford
07:45 - 09:00: 2 people for car park duties: John Williams + Karl Walton
08:30 and 9am for 5mins each: One person required at A442 junction to ensure all riders get through the first junction safely: Dave Cox / John Williams
10:15 - 14:30: One person at Evesham HQ (Raphaels cafe) to stamp brevet cards: Dave Cole
10:00 - 14:30: One person at Upton HQ (Stables cafe) to stamp brevet cards: Mark Rigby
So only three people needed for some (very) light duties - If you can help in any way, please let me know here.
Thanks
Phil

Re: SUNRISE / SNOWDROP 2025 - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Hi Ade, Mick is giving me a lift out in his van. I'll help with the early car park before the Snowdrop starts or the right turn for the Sunrise
Re: SUNRISE / SNOWDROP 2025 - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Thanks both...
Ade, be good if you could be here to help out on the desk for a few mins and to ride the Snowdrop. Can you enter via the Audax UK website?
Dave, I've got you on the A442 turn for the Sunrise so we can keep two people on car park duties, so you should have some time to get warm again before the Snowdrop starts

Ade, I'm pretty sure there's no affiliation between Audax UK and BC so you just need to enter as a non member.AdeR wrote: ↑12 Feb 2025 16:08Hi Phil - Not sure how to enter on the Audax UK website with a BC membership number? Any ideas?WorcsPhil wrote: ↑10 Feb 2025 11:41Thanks both...

Thanks Si. In the olden days you used to pay less when you presented yourself at sign on for Audaxes if you were a BC member because your BC membership meant you were insured. This included if you really got your act together and put a cheque in the post!Simon Woodward wrote: ↑12 Feb 2025 18:19Ade, I'm pretty sure there's no affiliation between Audax UK and BC so you just need to enter as a non member.AdeR wrote: ↑12 Feb 2025 16:08Hi Phil - Not sure how to enter on the Audax UK website with a BC membership number? That only applies to CUK members not BC membersAdeR wrote: ↑13 Feb 2025 09:38Thanks Si. I'm sure there's a valid reason but I'm not sure what it is.
