LMTT marshalling 2025

Post by George » 08 May 2025 17:21

The 2025 Little Mountain TT is coming up on 1 June. And it’s an extra-special event this year, because the LMTT is also the National Circuit Championship. For details see https://beaconrcc.org.uk/racing/little- ... ime-trial/.

We’re going to need a big team of marshals. I’ll be reaching out to people individually in the days ahead, but you can bag your favourite spot by volunteering first.

Here are the positions that we need to fill. The exact times that you’re needed will depend on the size of the final field, and where you are stationed. Marshalling on the first part of the course will inevitably involve an earlier start and an earlier finish than marshalling on the latter part of the course. If there’s a full field, the first rider will be off at 08:01 and the last at 10:00. If the field is not full, that window will be shorter. Riders will finish anywhere between roughly 1hr 30min and 2hrs 30mins after they start. A full shift is likely to involve being on station for somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5 hours (again, depending on the size of the field and where you are stationed). Don’t worry if you can’t spare that much time – just let me know, and we’ll see about organising shifts.

I’m happy to Marshall/help where needed. Cris is racing so I’ll be there fairly early. I’ll plan to ride back afterwards if anyone wants to join me!
No real preference as to post but will need to be one I can ride to.
Cheers
Celia

I think I'm around on 1 June. Happy to marshall.
I'll be cycling out and it would be nice this year if I was near enough to the HQ to be able to get back before everyone has gone home :D
