Sad news. Some of you may remember John Glaze of the Warwickshire Road Club who died on Monday aged 97.
If you ever rode the K37/10 on the Alcester Road you will probably have been held up at the start by John and served tea by him in the Silver Street clubroom afterwards.

John Glaze doesn't ring a bell, but I do remember a Billy Glaze from the Warwcks RC who used to knock about with Mick deMoulpied and other feared menbers of the Beacon Establishment, late 1950's
These could often be found in the Peacok Inn at Forhill on a Sunday evening if the club run tea stop had been that side of town.
They went so often that there was actually a plaque in the room that they used dedicated to the Peacock Wheelers.
Must be some connection I would think.
