Tuesday club run - 13 May 2025

Hello all

I gather it was a decent turnout last week for the first Tuesday club run of the year.

They are meant as a social club run ride, or a 'blast'. Speeds are dependent on those riding, and groups will be split depending on what people want to do.
If you've not done one before, give it a go! If the group you’re in feels a little too fast you can always drop back to the group behind.

I am away with work again this week. Last week I was forced into using this thing where you run in a room on this funny belt thing. It certainly felt odd not having a bike to use for exercise. Don’t think it’ll catch on.

Stuart is ably deputising again in my absence (thanks Stu!)

Hi folks

I rode the route tonight, and in case you’re not already aware, there are roadworks that have closed the road as you turn left from Bills Lane in Shirley, towards the Drawbridge pub.

There are huge holes that have been dug but was passable (carefully) on a bike, despite it being closed to cars.
