Hi

Well what a lovely ride, cracking weather great company, a vist from the P Fairy twice and a story about an elderley gent below that will stay with me for a while.

On the rode were....

Chris Ankcorn
Paul Balfe (L)
David Stephenson
Steve Smith

On the way back we saw an elderley gent walking his E Bike by Ragley Hall so i asked if he was ok, he said his chain had broke and he only had 2 miles to walk and we must carry on.
I stopped and said we would help him, and Chris got his chain tool out, and within 10 mins it was fixed even though this gent kept saying don't bother etc.

When Chris finished this older gent was overjoyed and smiling and shook all our hands profusely with a big smile on his face and then told us he wss going thro a very bad time over the last 2 weeks as his best friend had passed away and he really missed him and he became quite emotional and tearey eyed, we all told him he would be fine and keep going.

So moral of story was, stop and help people, you have no idea what they are going through and just that one act of kindness from 4 strangers made that elderley gents day, it really got to me as we cycled off and i couldn't stop thinking about him, so glad we stopped ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank You

Paul B

Thanks Paul, a most enjoyable ride and a rewarding 10 minute delay. My second flat appears to have been due to a faulty (new) tube so at least the thorn I removed first time was the right thorn.
