Off Road ride, 23 miles Sunday 1st September. 9.15am start

I will lead something a little different this week as I have been asked for a traffic free ride,with just a short section of road to and from the Black Horse. It will be a very easy paced ride, with no one dropped.
Bring your gravel bike, mountain bike, hybrid whatever bike floats your boat, excuse the pun. Road bikes are fine also but I reccomend at least 28mm tyres,
A 23 mile ride starting from the Black Horse at 9.15am, picking up the Rea Vally Route by Northfield train station. We then jump on the Stratford Upon Avon Canal for an unpaved ride down to Wedges Bakery, the toilet has been sorted so no more portacabin, proper luxury in comparison.
There are steps at the bridge to Wedges where you will need to carry your bike up, we will all help though. With Cyclo-cross season coming up this will be great practice for some of you.
The ride back will follow the same route in reverse.
As this is a Beacon RCC Community Cycling Group event (the first one to replace Guided Rides) accompanied children are most welcome to join us.
