Saturday 19th. Off Road, Marchers Castles Way, 60 miles, short route.

Cycling Uk have just released this new route of 181 miles, 290km, or a shorter version of 60 miles, 92km. I will be riding the Marchers Castles Way short route, 60 miles, this Saturday. This is a quiet lanes and off road, gravel, possibly a ittle mucky route so a mountain bike or gravel bike with chunky tyres is a must. I will be on my gravel bike with 40mm tyres.
It is a tough, hilly route so there will be 1 or 2 short sections of hike a bike.
This is not a fast, get round as quick as possible ride, we will be out for the whole day. We will be stopping for breakfast, lunch and photo opportunities as it is very scenic.
The route starts and finishes in Shrewsbury, I can take 2 people and bikes in my van or make your own way to BH or Shrewsbury. Please let me know if you would like a lift in van and or bikes taken to Shrewsbury and back.
Meeting at Black Horse at 7am. The aim is to have breakfast in Shrewsbury and a 9am ish ride start.

Route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48778181

I chose Saturday as it looks like great weather, whereas Sunday is looking a bit wet. I will do the full route soon though over 3 days
