WEEKLY UPDATE:
Now that Paul J has posted that Christmas video, Christmas is officially here!
Superb to see so many Beaconites out at the Swan on Sunday (and at the various cafes beforehand). By my reckoning, there were around 40 Beacon people at the pub, with more than half riding there on club runs. On arrival at the pub, there was some confusion that the official Swan meet-up was next Sunday, but many other club cyclists were there and we cumulatively packed the pub out, I'm sure much to the delight of the non-cycling regulars!
...but as next Sunday is the nearest to Christmas, shall we arrange club runs to go to a same venue again? By that, I don't mean the Swan, but perhaps Whitlenge which is big enough to take 20+ riders, but also close enough to encourage riders of all time constraints to come along...Other suggestions welcome, but it is great to all intermingle once in a while, so let's do it one mo' time.
It was the AGM last Thursday of course. In today's social-media world of mass apathy, not many dialled in again, but in my rose-tinted world, I interpret that as the members having undying love and respect for all we do, and not dialling in is the biggest compliment you could pay us as we must be unimprovable!!
Anyway, in advance of the official minutes next year, I'll post a set of bullet points later this week on what was agreed or actions that we're asking members' help on. Please take a look at that when it pings in.
Hope to see you Sunday again!

What time is being suggested for meeting up at Whitlenge this Sunday?
