WEEKLY UPDATE:
No weekly update next week, so this is the last one of 2024, and I had lines prepared that were so funny, your family would be picking you up off the floor, helpless with laughter, but I will save them all for next year.
Just to wish all Beacon members a very merry Christmas and excellent new year, and take at least one day off from training and our obsession with the bike...eat an extra roastie, accept that offer of a Baileys with your coffee, scoff some maltesers...although I do encourage all those free on Boxing Day to join Mick Stanford's big club ride to Knowle (Noel)...you see we even plan club rides to a destination with a Christmas theme, we don't just throw this stuff together you know.
So I leave you with this thought: The sweetest, most purest love you can give is to silently kiss someone whilst they are sleeping...unless you are in prison.
