Social and Introductory Ride, D Pace, Sunday 9th, 32 miles

I am leading a short D Ride with a stop at 28 miles at Lizzies Farm Shop and Cafe which is just 4 miles from the end of the ride. This is a hillyish route which will keep us warm on a cold winter day. 9.15am start from The Black Horse car park, Northfield.
The café is mainly cold food, caes galore, home made hot sausage rolls with lashings of brown sauce and hot quiche are available.
This is a perfect introductory ride for those wishing to try out the club, riders returning from injury or illness, or if you just fancy a nice steady, relaxed and chatty ride out.
Pace will be to the slowest rider which is usually between 10 and 13mph. The group will stay together so you will be looked after throughout, no one is left behind.

I will attempt to remember how to ride a bike with steering, braking and balancing.
What time do you think you’ll be at the top of Illey Lane?

Yes many thanks Mick. Lovely cafe - new one for me and you found some lanes I'd never ridden before !! Pity to find two awful drivers in a short ride

Cheers Dave, yes, shame about the drivers, the one has been reported now though. Forgot to turn camera on after cafe so missed the other one.
It would be great to link those lanes up through quite sections, I will have a look.
Cafe is lovely, a summer one for sure

Glad you enjoyed it Dave, lots of climbing made it a tough one. It was a little different as I want to create rides to new areas. Thanks for joining today
