So we have 28 Beacon riders booked onto the Sunrise / Snowdrop Audax this coming Saturday...If there are any more of you wavering, I will be closing it for entries on Wednesday, so that I can get rider lists all printed off by the weekend. So get your entries in, the weather looks positively tropical... If you decide you do want to ride, but entries appear closed on the Audax UK website, contact me, and I'll open it just for you...see how lovely I am?

As most riders will be riding the Audax on Saturday, it's likely we'll be thin on the ground for Sunday Club runs...but as Kevin Costner often said (name the film?) 'build it and they will come'...so why not suggest a ride using one of the many routes we have posted on the RIDEWITHGPS Club Account. When March comes, we'll be speaking to more leaders to ensure we have 3-4 rides going out every week, so watch this space.
Thanks to Matt Hale and Jonathan Turner for leading rides on the weekend, proving once again, that once we have some listed, loads of people jump on. Matt's ride seemed a little mechanical-heavy, but best get them out of the way before Saturday, huh?
Finally a little shout out to Luke Hutcheson, who is running more than cycling at present, and running brilliantly, as he blasted to a 1 hour 15min half-marathon in Wrexham yesterday, that's a great time ...and all on same day that the World Record for the half being lowered to 56mins 42secs in Barcelona...To put that into perspective, that about lower B-ride pace on a Bike! Madness! I think he must have E-legs...
See many of you at Whitlenge HQ on Saturday, come and say hello, especially at the end, where I may give you some free food and hot drink if you play your cards right!
Enjoy your week
Phil
