Meriden Cyclists' Memorial Service 18th May

The 104th Memorial Service and Celebration of Cycling will take place at 11.00 on Meriden Village Green. It's been a great gathering of the cycling clans since 1921 initially to remember club cyclists killed in World War One and then all the subsequent wars. Local clubs including the Beacon lay wreaths and this year Dave Cole has committed to take the wreath over. It would be great if someone would volunteer to lead the usual club run at C/D pace. It's best to start at 8.30 from Black Horse to allow time for coffee at Lavender Hall or Berryfields. There's also refreshments after the Service at the Village Hall provided in traditional style by the Women's Institute. Unfortunately for the first time in many years I can't make it because of a holiday booking. Would anyone be available to lead?? Thanks.
