Thanks Ade, I shared it with my brother who’s a ride leader with Evesham Wheelers and he said absolutely not up Fish Hill on health & safety grounds.
It’s the A44 to Oxford and two lanes up, one down 60mph zone, I’ve driven it plenty of times and never thought I’d like to ride it.
The lanes around the back (Snowshill, Saintbury & Dovers) are far more cycling friendly.

There is the 95km option which misses out Fish Hill. What can happen if you do that is the fast group comes past near the end of the ride - giving you the possibility of jumping on for the final stretch at a faster pace.Carl_Williams wrote: ↑07 Feb 2025 20:16Thanks Ade, I shared it with my brother who’s a ride leader with Evesham Wheelers and he said absolutely not up Fish Hill on health & safety grounds.
