Two places have very unexpectedly become available at the hotel. Two single beds in one room, so please if you are thinking about joining us, please shout up.

With just a few weeks to go and we still have two spaces remaining, so get in quick while you can!

Folks,
Fear not, there is still time to book your slot on the Weston weekend club ride, we have one bed still remaining in the hotel.
Plus, I believe that the hotel still has a few single rooms available if sharing a room isn't for you.
If it was the original rather lumpy route thru' the Forest of Dean that was maybe putting you off, this has now been changed and we are now going the quicker and flatter route both ways. We will be riding as one big group at what ever the pace of the group will be, what's not to like!

A huge well done to all those that took part in the Beacon Weston Weekend.
The weather was superb for the ride down, albeit with a slight headwind. The route, if l do say so myself, was terrific. Okay, apart from one section towards the end that bore a remarkable resemblance to a war zone!!
The return route was altered over breakfast to the fastest option, which was via the A38, so that people could get home for the footie. Would you also believe it, headwind on the way home to. . With a little bit of drizzle to start, it soon cleared, but remained slightly overcast for the rest of the trip home.
As for the hotel, what can l say, simply outstanding, they really couldn't do enough for us, to the point of giving us two single rooms just for the bikes!
Plus, l think we all had sea view rooms to.
So a huge shout out to the Royal Grosvenor Hotel, above and beyond customer satisfaction.
