RESULT: Mallory Park 31/05/12

Lee Marrow and me raced Mallory Park again last night. It was a smaller field, about 25, than last week. It was a stronger field too with some big powerful riders who blew the thing to bits from the start. It was fast, over 25mph avg and probably the hardest race i've done so far.
However me and Lee held our own and we were in good shape coming into the last lap. Unfortunately there was a crash, which Lee got involved in. He had a couple of cut knees and a very broken bike for his trouble.
I managed to avoid the crash and hung on to the front group. I managed to squeeze into the top ten for the first time, finishing 9th and picking up my 1st ever BC point!! Only need to do the same another 9 times and I'll get my 3rd cat license!
So it was a night of mixed emotions for the beacons.
