Just like team Sky at the TdF, the Beacons brought in the 1st and 2nd! Richard looked strong all race, stopping at the front for most of it. I thought he did too much work but in the final lap he pushed and rode of the front finishing 7 or 8 bike lengths in front. Mike won the, really tight, sprint. More importantly he stayed upright!
Well done to both as they have gone 3rd Cat as well. And especially well done to Richard as I believe this was his first race.
Ed and Greg also rode-Greg scrapping into 10th. Ed looked comfortable finishing in the bunch-better positioning in the final corner would have got him top 10. A bit of bad luck for Steve as his chain snapped in the 3/4 race.
A big thanks to all the Beacons who came down and helped out!

Well done guys, especially Richard - I'd seen some impressive times from you on Strava but to win your first race must be rare!
